how many与 how much都是“多少”的意思，均用于引导特殊疑问句，但它们的用法有所区别。

一、用来提问数量时：

how many用在复数名词前，提问可数名词的数量。

how much用在不可数名词前，提问不可数名词的数量。

例句：

How many bananas do you want?

你想要多少香蕉？

How much milk is there in the bottle?

瓶子里有多少牛奶？

二、此外，how much可以提问可数名词/不可数名词的价格！

例句：

提问单数名词的价格：

How much is the computer?

这台电脑多少钱？

提问复数名词的价格：

How much are the computers?

这些电脑多少钱？

提问不可数名词的价格：

How much is the meat?

这肉多少钱？

（你看图中的句子，因为people是单复同形的，所以是how many）
